Whare Puāwai Booking Terms and Conditions
Pōwhiri / Whakatau
Whare Puāwai is not a marae; therefore, a formal pōwhiri is not required.
Groups may, at their discretion, choose to conduct a mihi whakatau.
Use of Venue and Accommodation
Whare Puāwai does not provide sleeping facilities.
There are no mattresses available onsite, and the premises are not to be used for overnight accommodation under any circumstances.
All booking parties are responsible for ensuring that no individuals remain overnight.
Furniture and Venue Layout
The venue is equipped with eight (8) tables and twenty (20) chairs for use.
All furniture must be returned to its original position and condition prior to departure.
The booking party is responsible for leaving the venue in a clean and orderly state.

Woodwork Equipment
A range of woodwork equipment is securely stored onsite.
Access to this equipment is strictly limited to pre-approved groups and is subject to prior agreement.
All use must comply with applicable health and safety requirements, and appropriate supervision must be provided at all times.

Music Equipment
Whare Puāwai includes a designated band area with associated music equipment.
Use of this equipment is subject to prior arrangement and approval. The booking party is responsible for ensuring all equipment is used appropriately and left in good working condition.

General Responsibilities
The booking party assumes full responsibility for the conduct of all attendees during the period of hire.
Any damage to the venue, furnishings, or equipment must be reported promptly and may incur charges.
Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in cancellation of current or future bookings.
